Summary of Benefits

Employees must complete a 60 day probationary period prior to becoming eligible for benefits

  • Vacation Pay
    Vacation pay accrues at 2.1% of regular hours worked for the first year, 4.2% years 2-10 and 6.3% after 10 years for full time and part time employees. Employees may use vacation hours as they are accrued after 60 days.  Vacation time carries over year to year.
     

  • Holiday Pay
    Full time employees will receive holiday pay for their regularly scheduled hours. Full time employees who are scheduled to work holidays will receive holiday pay and regular time for hours worked. Part time employees that are scheduled to work holidays will receive one & one half of their regular hourly rate for hours worked. The six paid holidays are: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Christmas Day.
     

  • Sick Pay
    Sick time accrues at 4.9% of regular hours worked for full time employees.  Sick pay carries over year to year.
     

  • Health Insurance
    Full time employees working more than 30 hours per week are eligible for health insurance. The employer will contribute towards the premium cost for employee only insurance. The premium cost for additional participants will be passed on to the employee.
     

  • Dental Insurance
    Full time employees working more than 30 hours per week are eligible for dental insurance. The employer will contribute towards the premium cost for employee only insurance, option 1. The premium cost for additional participants, or additional options, will be passed on to the employee.
     

  • Vision Insurance
    Full time employees working more than 30 hours per week are eligible for vision insurance at their own expense.
     

  • STD/LTD Insurance
    Short Term Disability enrollment available for full time employees at their own expense.   Long Term Disability insurance is offered at no cost to the employee.
     

  • Funeral Leave
    Eligible for 3 days maximum 40 hours annually.
     

  • Jury Duty
    You will be paid the difference between your regular rate of pay and the fees you receive for jury duty for the days you serve, not to exceed 3 days. KDH expects you to report for work promptly at the end of your jury service.
     

  • Retirement
    DCP IRS Code Section 457. Full-time employees may participate in a company match as shown in the table below.

    All employees may participate at their own expense to the extent of the tax laws.
     

  • Group Life Insurance
    The organization will pay for a life insurance policy that is one times the employees’ annual salary.
     

  • Voluntary Life Insurance
    Full-time employees may participate at their own expense.
     

  • Cafeteria Plan/Flex-Spending Account
    Employees are issued debit cards that can be used on approved medical expenses.  These accounts are funded by employees but the money is taken out pre-tax.  KDH will match the first $300 contributed to the employees account.  Dependent Care Expenses are also eligabale
     

  • Supplemental Insurance
    Cancer Insurance, Accident or Accident with Disability, (These are offered at employee expense through Guardian.) 
     

  • Workers Compensation
    Insurance is paid by Kiowa District Healthcare.
     

  • KDH Services
    Discount of 20% for all bills when paid in full in the month billed..
